We stayed in Hotel Als for 7 nights. As the AD says, the hotel locates in a very convinent place, very close to the Old town and the new town, 2 mins from the harbor. We didn't have any trouble in finding places. The room we stayed was Okey. There are clean-ladies coming to clean the room in the morning, but frankly speaking the room was not very clean most of the time. The breakfast is offered between 7:30-9:30. It includes breads, baked-egg, boiled-egg, jam, cheese, ham, tea, juice, coffee, etc. So basically, you won't have trouble with the food if you are not picky. The staff who work in the hotel are friendly but not very helpful. We expected them offer more information about the town.
