i have dived a lot of times from this beach . whit a dive boat from rhodes town vish transport divers to kalithea . the whole day at this place , is WOW.

Just to update the information here, the Spa's at Kalithea have been renovated and are truly beautiful, well worth a visit.

i went there in summer 2003. wow, what a place, nice and warm, the sand was a little hot but who cares, the lougers were cheap and the place was amazingly quite. all i wanted to do was stay ther for the rest of my life. the surrounding were so picturesque and the buildings were full of culture and historically interesting. the water was lovely and warm and it was great chasing the fish around with the scuba gear. and how clear was the water?????, you can see to the bottom, the surf wasnt strong and the water lapped over you like it was stroking you for comfort, kalithea was extraordinarily unique in the way it manipulates you into feeling calm and clear and totally relaxed, if you havent been there yet, you havent lived.
